Dumplings are a traditional classic of China. Made in steam baskets, they are now also known as momos or wontons. A very popular dish, it is just finger-licking good !

- Minced chicken - 1 cup
- Chopped onion - 1 cup
- Chopped ginger -garlic - 2 tablespoon
- Schezwan sauce / red chilli paste- 2 tablespoon
- Soya sauce - 2 tablespoon
- Chilli sauce - 1/2 tablespoon
- Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Chilli flakes (optional) - 1 tablespoon
- Ajinamoto - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
DOUGH:
- Maida - 2.5 cups
- Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
METHOD
- Fry the chicken , ginger, garlic and onion in some oil , till the chicken gets cooked.
- Now, add schezwan sauce/chilli paste , soya sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, ginger-garlic paste,chilli flakes, ajinamoto and salt to the fried mixture. The stuffing is now ready.
- Mix the ingredients for the dough with warm water to a soft consistency.
- Roll it out into 20, small, thin and flat circles.
- Put a little bit of stuffing into each circle and bind them properly so that the ends are sealed, in any shape.
- Steam the raw momos in a steamer for 10-12 minutes and serve with any dip/chutney/relish of your choice.
